Chandan Marbles & Granite

Our place is at Plot No. 202 in G.I.D.C.-1, Sabalpur. It’s on the old Rajkot Road, which stays pretty busy with commuters. We have been operating out of this G.I.D.C. area for quite some time. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s perfect for the kind of heavy work we do with marble and granite. We have a lot of inventory scattered around the plot. Some of it is local stone, and some comes from further away. We don’t have a big staff, just a few reliable people who know how to handle the materials. The weather gets hot here, and working outside in the yard can be draining, but we get through it. We don’t use any complicated systems for our business. It’s mostly just notebooks and keeping track of what goes out the gate. People who live along Rajkot Road know us well. We don't go out looking for awards or big recognition. We just want to make sure the stone we sell is decent and the price is fair. The office is small and usually has a layer of dust on the windows. That is just part of being in Sabalpur. We like the rhythm of the work here. It’s consistent and keeps us occupied from morning until evening. We just keep our heads down and do what we know how to do.
