Very Fine Art Emporium

We are located at E-211 on Road No. 6 in Basni 2nd Phase. It’s an industrial area, so there are a lot of workshops around us. Very Fine Art Emporium isn't as grand as the name might sound, it’s mostly just a busy space where we put things together. There is always something being painted or carved in the back. The floors are usually covered in scraps and the walls have sketches pinned up everywhere. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices. Most of us are in old clothes, covered in a bit of paint or glue. We like the work though. It’s satisfying to see something finished after working on it for a week. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and we order food from the stall down the road. It gets pretty dusty in the dry months, but we just keep the fans running and carry on. We don't do much talking about "art" in a fancy way. We just think of it as our job. We’ve been here in Basni for quite a while now and we know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a community of people who make things. We just try to be a part of that and do our bit. No big speeches, just keeping the workshop going and seeing what the next day brings.
