Sagar Art Palace is tucked away behind the UCO Bank in Boranada. We are in the Ist Phase of the area. It is a bit of a quiet corner compared to the main road, but we like it that way. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's mostly filled with things we've been working on for the past few weeks. Sometimes people get lost trying to find the bank first, then they spot us in the back. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so we keep the shutters down halfway to stay cool. We’ve got a couple of benches where we sit and have tea when there’s a break in the schedule. It is mostly just us handling the day-to-day stuff. We don't really do much advertising or anything, word of mouth seems to work fine. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much material lying around. You have to watch your step when you walk through the main room. We try to keep things tidy but art and work are usually messy things. It’s been our home for a good while now. Every day feels pretty much the same, just chipping away at whatever is on the bench. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local spot in Boranada doing our own thing. The floor is covered in old rugs and the walls have some sketches pinned up.
