Mahadev Handicraft

You can find Mahadev Handicraft over at 3 'Gh' 6, M.H.B. in Basni First Phase. It’s a bit of a maze in this part of town, but once you find the building, you’ll hear us working. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. The workshop is where we spend almost all our time. It’s not a polished place. The walls could use some paint and the furniture is mostly just old benches we’ve used forever. We don't care much about the looks of the office because the work happens in the back. There are always pieces of wood and metal lying around waiting to be shaped. We are a small crew. We talk about the local cricket scores while we work and drink tea when we take a break. We don't have a marketing strategy or anything like that. We just do the work that’s in front of us. Some days the heat in Basni is really something, so we start early to beat the sun. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to keep making things and staying busy. It’s a practical way to live. People know us in the neighborhood as the guys who are always at the shop. We don't promise anything other than showing up and doing the job. That’s how we’ve always operated and it works for us.
