Theka Coffee Da

Theka Coffee Da is located at Plot No - 7, right on Bus Stand Road in Jawahar Nagar. Being so close to the Maheshwari Public School means we see a lot of parents and kids throughout the day. The noise from the buses at the stand is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a small coffee spot for people passing through. Most mornings start with us opening up the shutters and getting the machine warmed up. It’s a bit of a routine now. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so it gets warm. We have a few chairs out but most folks just take their coffee and go. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the menu. There’s enough stress in the world without having to choose between twenty different types of beans. We just make a good, strong cup that gets you through the day. Sometimes the milk delivery is a little late and we have to wait around, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it goes when you run a place. We know the names of the bus drivers who stop by every day. It’s a decent way to make a living and we like being part of the noise and life here in Jawahar Nagar. It’s not fancy, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time just cleaning up and getting ready for the next rush of people.
