Dark Knight Cafe & Discotheque

Dark Knight Cafe & Discotheque is up on the 3rd Floor of the building that has the Redtape Showroom. We are on C Road in the Sardarpura area of Jodhpur. Being on the third floor, you have to take the stairs or the lift to get to us. It’s right opposite Azad Hind College, so we see a lot of younger people around the entrance. The place is a bit different from the shops downstairs. We have a dark interior and some lights that change colors. It stays pretty dark even during the day because of how we have the windows covered. There is a dance floor area and then some places to sit and eat. We spend a lot of time checking the sound system and making sure the air conditioning is running right because it gets incredibly hot in Jodhpur. When the music is going, you can probably hear the bass vibrating a bit in the floor. We have some sofas that are getting a bit soft from everyone sitting on them. It’s not a fancy corporate lounge, just a place where people come to hang out and maybe dance a bit. The staff usually gets here in the late afternoon to start setting up. We wipe down the tables and check the lights before people start showing up. It’s a busy spot on the weekends, but during the week it’s a bit more relaxed. Just a regular spot in Sardarpura for people to spend their evening.
