Sunrise Ice Cream

You can find Sunrise Ice Cream over at No. 5 on Paota C Road. We are right near the Reliance Fresh, so it's a pretty easy place to locate if you’re out doing your grocery shopping. We’ve been running this shop for a while now. It’s not a huge place, just a small shop where we keep the freezers running all day and night. During the summers, it gets really busy here. People come in looking for something cold. We try to keep everything stocked up. Sunrise Ice Cream is a name we picked because it sounds cheerful, I guess. The shop floor is usually a bit sticky because kids are always dropping things, but we clean it as much as we can. We are just local people. I live not too far from Paota C Road myself. It’s a good neighborhood to be in. We don’t have fancy chairs or a lounge area. It’s mostly just a counter and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to worry about the stock melting, which is always a headache. But that’s just the reality of running a small business like this. We don’t have a marketing department. We just put the sign out front and hope people see it. Most of our customers are regulars who live in the apartments nearby. They know us by name, and we know what they usually order. It’s a simple life at Sunrise Ice Cream.
