Jodhpur Fruit Juice Corner

Jodhpur Fruit Juice Corner is located outside Sojati Gate. We are directly opposite the Syndicate Bank. Jodhpur is a very hot place for most of the year, so people are always looking for something cold to drink. We have been standing here in this spot for a long time. We have crates of oranges, pineapples, and whatever else is in season piled up around us. The sound of the juicer is constant. We don't have any place for people to sit down, they just stand on the pavement and drink their juice. The traffic coming through Sojati Gate is always heavy. You have to watch out for the bikes while you are waiting for your glass. We use fresh fruit every day. We don't have a big sign, just the fruit on display so people know what we sell. Sometimes the bank employees come over during their break. We know them all by name now. It is a simple business. We start early to get the fruit from the market and we stay until the evening when it starts to get a bit cooler. The pavement can get a bit sticky from the juice spills but we try to wash it down. We don't use any fancy machines, just the old ones that work. It is just a small corner of the city where we work every day.
