Solanki Borewell

We are located right by the Marudhar Filing Station on NH-15, out on the Bikaner Road. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Bhura Baba Mandir in Phalodi. Solanki Borewell is a local business, and we’ve been digging wells in this part of Rajasthan for quite some time. It’s dusty, hard work, especially when the heat really picks up in the summer. We have the rigs and the equipment to get deep into the ground to find water. Around here, having a reliable well is everything. We know the soil and the rock layers in this area pretty well by now. Usually, a farmer or a homeowner will come by the station to talk to us about where they think the water is. We load up the trucks and head out to the site, which can be quite a drive sometimes. It’s not a fancy job. We spend a lot of time covered in mud and grease, making sure the drill bits are sharp and the engines are running. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we’re mostly out in the field or hanging around the shop near the highway. People know us by word of mouth mostly. We just do the work, make sure the casing is set right, and hope we hit a good vein of water for the customer. It’s how things have been done here for years, and we just keep it going. When the pump finally starts pushing water out, it makes the sweat feel worth it.
