Our place is at 53 Sakina Colony, which is right behind Geeta Bhawan. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you don’t know the area well. The colony is mostly residential, so it stays fairly calm throughout the day, except for when the trucks come in to load or unload. We’ve been operating out of this location for a while. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for moving things in and out. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a couple of workstations. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; if you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us on the phone or typing away. We deal with various export items, so there’s always something different being packed. We use a lot of tape and bubble wrap, and you can usually find a few rolls rolling around the floor. Lunch is a communal affair usually, just sitting around the main desk. We track everything in big notebooks and then put it into the system later. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. Behind Geeta Bhawan is a good landmark, and most people find us eventually. We stay until the last order is ready for the next day's pickup. It’s just a small local business trying to do things right.
