You’ll find us in the Jalap Mohalla area of Jodhpur. We’re located right on Sada Sukh Lane, and if you ask for Rahul Purohit, most people around here can point you the right way. Our business is Pooja Dyes and Chemical. Jodhpur is famous for its colors, and we’ve been part of that trade in our own small way. The lane is quite narrow, like most of the old city, so you have to be careful if you’re bringing a vehicle. Our workspace is filled with the smell of different chemicals and the sight of various dyes. It’s a messy business sometimes. We have bags and containers stacked up against the walls. We spend our time mixing, measuring, and talking to the local dyers who come to us for their supplies. It’s not a high-tech facility. We use old scales and handwritten notes for most things. The sun hits the stone walls of the lane in a certain way in the afternoon, making it very hot, so we usually take a break then. We’ve been here for years, and the walls are stained with years of work. It’s a family-style environment where we know our customers by name. We don't have a website or any of that, we just rely on people knowing where we are and what we provide for the local textile work. It's just hard work in a dusty lane, but it's what we know.
