Rk Dyestuffs has its place at G-599 in the M.I.A. Basni Phase II area of Jodhpur. It’s a pretty standard industrial setup. We deal with dyes and colors, so you can imagine the place isn't always the cleanest looking, but that is the nature of the business. There are always containers being moved and powders being mixed. Jodhpur gets quite hot, especially in this part of the industrial estate, so the afternoons can be a bit of a grind. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies. It’s just a warehouse and a production floor where we do our thing. We’ve been here in Basni for quite a while now and we know the rhythms of the area. Most of our neighbors are doing similar industrial work. We focus on getting the shades right and making sure the batches are consistent. It’s a lot of measuring and checking. We don't have a lot of time for marketing or making the place look like a showroom. It’s a workspace through and through. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of color by the end of the shift. We just try to do an honest day’s work and get the orders out to whoever needs them. It’s a simple life, focused on the chemicals and the colors we produce right here in Phase II. It is what it is, and we just keep the machines running every day.
