Dyesynth is located at F-380 in the M. I. A. part of Basni Phase II. It is an industrial setting, through and through. The air around here often smells like chemicals or metal, which is just part of the job. We have been here for several years now, working out of this warehouse. It’s a large space but it’s packed with drums and equipment. We mostly handle things related to dyes and synthetic materials. It is dirty work and your clothes usually end up stained by the end of the shift. My partner and I started this after working for a much larger company and realizing we wanted to do things our own way, even if it meant a smaller paycheck at first. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. Most of our day is spent checking temperatures or mixing batches. It can be repetitive, but you have to pay attention or things go sideways quickly. When people come to visit, we usually just meet them in the small area near the front door because the back is too crowded. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to provide the materials our customers ask for without making any big fuss. It’s a practical business run by people who don't mind getting their hands dirty to get the work finished. It’s hard work but it pays the bills for us every month.
