Paragon Tea Marketing is over at 14, Amrit Lal Gehalot Block in Mandore Mandi. Working in the mandi is always a bit chaotic and loud. There is always someone shouting or a truck backing up somewhere nearby. We are tucked away in the block, and it is a good spot because we are right in the middle of all the action. We spend our days looking at tea samples and talking to the guys who bring the stock in from the estates. It is a lot of talking and a lot of drinking tea to see if the quality is right for our buyers. Our office is not much to look at, just some old desks and a lot of sample tins sitting on the shelves. Sometimes the dust from the market gets inside, but you get used to that after working here for a week. Jodhpur gets really hot in the summer, so the Mandore Mandi can be a tough place to be during the middle of the day. We have a few regular people we sell to, mostly small wholesalers who need their stock on time. We do not do anything too fancy here. It is just about getting the tea from one place to another without too much fuss. I remember when the block was much quieter, but now it is always packed with vendors. We just keep our heads down and do our part every day.
