New Looks Family Salon & Academy

New Looks Family Salon & Academy is situated in the Shekkawati Complex. This is on the National Handloom Road in Basni Phase 1, Jodhpur. We are also right on the Rameshwar Nagar Main Road. It’s a big area and can get pretty dusty with all the traffic passing through. Our place is both a salon and a place where we teach people the trade. It gets quite loud sometimes with the students practicing and the regular customers getting their hair done at the same time. We have a lot of space compared to some of the smaller shops in Jodhpur. Since it’s a family salon, we see everyone from toddlers to grandparents. We’ve been here long enough that the complex feels like a second home. The chairs are comfortable enough for a long session. We don't put on any acts or try to seem like a high-fashion boutique. It's just a practical place to learn or to get cleaned up. The road outside is always busy with people going to the handloom stores or heading toward Rameshwar Nagar. We keep our tools ready and the water running. Sometimes the academy side of things is busier than the salon side, but we manage both. We are just local people working in the beauty business. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, but that is the job we chose and we are used to it.
