Our place, Nakoda Exports, is situated at F-140-A in the M.I.A. Basni 2nd Phase. It’s a very industrial part of town, so you’ll see a lot of warehouses and factories all around us. There isn't much shade on this side of Basni, so it feels quite industrial and dry most of the time. We have a fair amount of space here in the F block. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when the loads are coming in or being prepared for shipping. The staff here mostly lives in the surrounding colonies, so we all know the shortcuts to avoid the heavy truck traffic on the main roads. Our office is basically just a few rooms attached to the main storage area. It smells a bit like cardboard and packing tape most days. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front. Most people find us just by looking for the gate number. The local tea seller comes by twice a day, which is something everyone looks forward to. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping track of what goes where and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. The 2nd Phase has grown a lot, and it feels like there is always a new building going up nearby. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks at hand without making it more complicated than it needs to be. It is just a part of the daily grind in this industrial zone.
