Baghwati Exports

We are out on Sardar Pura B Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and we have been operating here for quite a while now. The business is all about exporting, so a lot of our time is spent out back where the packing happens. There are always rolls of bubble wrap and rolls of tape lying around, and the sound of packing tape being pulled is something you hear all day long. The front office is pretty basic, just a couple of chairs and a desk where we handle the shipping documents. Jodhpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, so we have a cooler running that makes a lot of noise, but we can't do without it. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a map. Most of the work at Baghwati Exports is repetitive—checking the items, wrapping them up, and making sure the labels are correct. We deal with a lot of transporters and drivers who are always in a hurry. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure things don't get broken. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we are just a small team making sure the crates go out on time. Sometimes the shipments get delayed and we have to stay late to sort it out, but that’s just how the export business works. We just get through it.
