Our place is over in the Heavy Industrial Area, right across from the diesel shed at Plot No. 27-B. It’s a busy part of town with lots of trucks moving in and out all day long. You can hear the engines and the sounds of the industrial yard pretty much all the time. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now, handling whatever tasks come across the desk or the workbench. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like being where the action is. The dust from the road settles on everything if we don’t keep the doors shut, but mostly we just leave them open to get a breeze. We deal with various industrial things, and there’s always something that needs loading or unloading. Sometimes the logistics of it all get a bit messy, especially when several deliveries show up at once. We just handle it one thing at a time. It’s mostly about keeping the workflow going without too many hiccups. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. It’s just daily labor and making sure the parts or materials go where they are supposed to. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment is due. We usually just grab tea from the stall nearby and get back to it. It's a straightforward life here in the industrial zone, and we’ve gotten used to the grit and the noise of the area.
