Kapila Trades

Upper Chopasani Road has a lot of traffic these days, and we are right in the thick of it. The shop is a simple place, just four walls filled with whatever auto parts we can fit on the racks. We started out with just a few things, but now the inventory has grown so much that we have to be careful where we step. The shop sign is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us well enough. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers who are having trouble with their vans or cars. We don't do the repairs ourselves, but we provide the bits and pieces they need. There is an old wooden counter where we do the paperwork, and it’s got deep scratches from years of heavy metal parts being slid across it. We don't have any air conditioning, so we keep the front open to get whatever breeze comes off the road. Sometimes it’s just quiet for an hour and then suddenly five people walk in at once, all in a hurry. We just take them one by one. It’s a basic operation. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here on the upper road. We keep a stash of old catalogues to look up part numbers when the newer systems don't have what we need. It’s just us, the parts, and the road.
