Emkay Fincap Limited

Down here in Jodhpur, we have Emkay Fincap Limited set up at Pankaj Niwas. It is located near Lal Bhawan Asthal, just inside the Nagori Gate. Jodhpur can get incredibly hot in the summer months, so our office is a bit of a refuge from the sun. We handle financial matters and various paperwork for people in the local area. The building is an old one, typical of this part of town, and it has a lot of character even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We are not a big bank with glass walls and fancy suits. It is just a few desks and a lot of files. People walk in, we sit down with them, and we talk about what they need. Being near Nagori Gate means there is always a lot of activity outside, with bikes and rickshaws going past all the time. Sometimes it's hard to hear yourself think over the noise of the street. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they know us. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't bother with big advertisements because word of mouth is usually enough around here. It is just about being steady and showing up every morning to help whoever comes through the door. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the market starts to cool off a bit.
