Dwarka Art India Private Limited

We are situated at Plot No 2 in the Basni Second Phase, right near the Krishna Dharam Kanta. If you know Jodhpur, you know the industrial areas can get pretty crowded and loud. Dwarka Art India Private Limited is our place where we handle a lot of different art-related items. It’s mostly furniture and decorative things that people like to put in their homes. Our workshop is right there on Road No 6, and you can usually hear the sound of tools and sanding going on if you walk past. It’s a dusty job, and we all end up with wood shavings or paint on our clothes by lunch. We aren't a fancy gallery; we are more of a working warehouse and production spot. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets quite warm, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. We have a small team of workers who know their way around wood and metal. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write shiny brochures. We just make things, pack them up, and send them out to wherever they are going. It’s a lot of physical work and making sure the quality is okay before the trucks come to load everything. Being in Jodhpur means we are surrounded by a lot of history and craft, and we just try to keep that going in our own small way at the plot. It is a long day every day, but we get it done.
