New Light Export operates out of a large plot, G-445 to 459, in the Epip Boranada area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so it’s quieter here than in the central markets. Because we cover several plots, there is plenty of room for our operations, but it also means a lot of walking back and forth between different sections. Boranada can feel a bit isolated sometimes, especially when the wind picks up and blows the dust across the open spaces. We have a good routine going, though. Most of us arrive early to beat the heat. The office is tucked into one corner of the property. It’s a practical space with old metal desks and plenty of ledgers. We don't do much in the way of decorating. We are more concerned with the logistics of moving goods. The Epip zone is strictly for business, so you don't see many people just wandering around. It’s all trucks and workers. Lunch is usually a communal affair where we share whatever we’ve brought from home. Sometimes we order something if a delivery is running late and we have to stay into the evening. The work isn't glamorous, but it keeps us busy and the day goes by fast when the orders are piling up. We like the space we have here, even if it’s a bit far out for some people. Most of the workers take the company bus or ride their bikes across the open stretches of road to get here.
