Ashoka Tea Centre

If you ever find yourself wandering around the Mandour Mandi, you will probably see our sign at F-1-9. The Ashoka Tea Centre has been tucked away in the Mandour Krushi Mandi for some time now. It is a very busy spot, especially on market days when the farmers and traders are all moving around with their goods. The air is always filled with the smell of different grains and the tea we keep here. We spend a lot of time on Mandour Road, just watching the traffic go by while we wait for deliveries. It is a practical setup we have. There are bags of tea stacked up nearly to the ceiling sometimes, and we have to shuffle them around just to find what someone is looking for. Our floor is concrete and a bit cracked in the corners, but it holds up. We do not really do anything fancy with the display. People know where we are, and they usually know exactly what they need when they walk through the door. The mornings are usually the most hectic part of our day. By the afternoon, things slow down a bit and we can finally catch our breath. It is hard work being in a mandi, but it is what we know. We just handle the buying and selling without making a big fuss about it. It is just us doing our jobs in this little corner of the market.
