Arun Arts is tucked away at A-76 in Kamla Nehru Nagar, specifically in the Ist Extension area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we actually like. We’ve been working out of this space for quite some time, and the walls are covered in marks from years of projects. We handle a lot of different art pieces here. Sometimes the floor is covered in shavings or paint spills, depending on what we’re focusing on that week. It’s not a polished gallery by any means. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we know the people living around us quite well. You might see a few frames leaning against the front gate if we’re running out of room inside. It’s a small building, and we’ve had to get creative with how we store all our materials and finished work. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule; we just start when the light is good and keep going until the job is finished. It’s a bit messy and crowded, but that’s how an art space usually ends up looking after a few years. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for folks to drop by without dealing with too much traffic. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
