The Graphics

The Graphics is located over on Mahanpura Mandor Road. It is a busy stretch of road and we see a lot of people passing through every single day. We spend most of our time staring at screens and trying to figure out how to make things look right. It’s not always easy. Sometimes a file doesn't open or the printer acts up, and we have to spend an hour fixing it. That’s just part of the day here. We’ve got a small setup in Mahanpura. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. We usually have the radio on or some music playing in the background to keep us going. The Mandor Road area can be quite loud with the traffic, but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the machines. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know the neighbors well. We usually grab tea from the stall down the street in the afternoon. It’s a simple life. We don’t do a lot of talking about what we do; we just do it. People bring us their ideas and we try to put them on paper or vinyl. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, but we don’t mind. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place like this. We hope to stay here.
