Artique Handicrafts Private Limited is situated at Plot No. 377 in the Umaid Heritage area of Jodhpur. Being near Defence Lab Road makes it easy to find, and it's a fairly well-known part of the city. We work in the handicraft sector, which is what Jodhpur is all about. Our building is usually filled with the sounds of people working on different items. It’s not just a shop; it’s where the planning and some of the finishing happens. The Jodhpur sun is always bright, so we try to keep the workspace as cool as possible. We have piles of finished goods waiting to be wrapped and boxed up. There’s a certain smell to the place—a mix of wood, polish, and maybe some old fabric. We have some local artisans who come in and out throughout the week. It feels like a small community here. We don't have a corporate vibe at all. Usually, someone is making tea in the corner while we discuss what needs to be shipped out next. The floors are stone and they stay a bit cooler in the summer. We spend a lot of our time checking the details on the pieces to make sure they look right. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the orders are handled.
