Anupam Agencies is right here on 4Th A Road in Sardarpura. It’s a wholesale type of place, so we have a lot of crates and boxes moving in and out all day long. The building is older, number 317, and it has that solid feel to it. We handle a variety of goods that go out to smaller shops in the city. It gets quite busy in the mornings when the delivery trucks arrive. Everyone is moving fast to get things unloaded before the sun gets too high. My desk is tucked in a corner where I can see most of the floor. It’s often dusty because of all the cardboard, but we try to sweep it out every evening. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. People who need what we sell usually know where we are. Dealing with suppliers and transport people takes up most of our time. Sometimes there are delays with the shipments, which can be a bit of a pain, but we manage. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we all know the routine. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory matches what’s on the paper. It’s a basic, hard-working environment without any unnecessary extras. Just a local agency doing its job every day of the week. Sometimes we share a quick snack in the afternoon when the rush finally slows down.
