Alovera Agro

Down in Boranada at G-129, that’s where you’ll find Alovera Agro. We are out here in the district where the sun is usually pretty strong and the ground is dry. Working with plants and agro products in this climate means we have to pay attention to the seasons. We aren't a huge corporation with a thousand employees. It’s just a local team that knows the land and knows what we’re growing. The industrial area in Boranada can be a bit dusty, but it’s a good place for a business like ours. We spend a lot of our time outdoors or in the processing area. There’s always something to be watered, checked, or moved around. We don’t have a polished office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s more of a hands-on type of place. Our clothes usually have a bit of dirt on them by the end of the day, which is just how it goes. We don’t spend much on advertising or trying to look fancy on the internet. We just focus on the aloe and whatever else we are working with at the time. People know us in the district because we’ve been here and we do what we say we’re going to do. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We like the quiet of the area and the feeling of growing something from the ground up. It feels right.
