Vishwakrama Steel

Our place is right near the Power House in Ward 6. It is easy to find if you are driving through Mandava. We mostly deal with steel fabrication and whatever else people in the village or town need for their construction projects. It is a lot of welding and cutting. We have some heavy machines that make a lot of noise, so we usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot to work. The shed is open to the air, which helps with the heat and the fumes. We make gates, window grills, and sometimes frames for sheds or small buildings. People bring their own designs sometimes, or they just tell us what they want and we figure it out on the spot. It is not a big corporate setup at all. Just a few of us working with our hands and simple tools. We buy the raw steel from the city and bring it back here on a truck. There is always a pile of scrap in the corner that we eventually sort through and sell. We have been at this spot for many years. The neighbors know the sound of our hammers by now. Sometimes business is slow when the farming season is busy, but it picks up when people start building new rooms. We do not use fancy words to describe what we do. It is just steel work. We make things strong so they last. That is about it for us here.
