Nabadisha Producer Company Limited

Nabadisha Producer Company Limited is based out of a small place in Jamalchak Barati. We are located at house number 01, right in the heart of Paschim Medinipur. It is quite different out here compared to the big city. Life moves a bit slower and we are much closer to the fields where everything actually happens. Our office is just a simple building where we gather to talk about the crops and the work. In Jamalchak Barati, everyone knows everyone else, so we don't really need a big sign. We just tell people to come to the first house and they find us. The air is a bit cleaner here, though it gets very dusty when the tractors go by on the road. We spend a lot of our time meeting with the local producers who are part of our group. Sometimes we sit outside if the weather is nice, or we crowd into the small room inside when it rains. It is a practical setup for us because we need to be near the land. We don't have fancy computers or office chairs, just the basics. Most of our day is spent talking to people and making sure things are going okay with the farming. It is hard work being in Paschim Medinipur, but it is what we know how to do best together.
