Kanchan Steel

Kanchan Steel is right in the middle of Maveshi Bazar, which falls under Ward Number 11. We are situated near Sagar Road, so the area is always buzzing with people and cattle. It’s a traditional market setting. We sell steel utensils, pipes, and some structural pieces. The shop is always a bit cluttered because we try to fit a lot of stock into a small space. Being in Maveshi Bazar means we get all sorts of customers, from farmers to local builders. It’s a noisy place with all the shouting and the sounds of the market. We don't have a corporate office or a polished sales team. It’s just us behind the counter. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. People know they can come to us for their basic steel needs. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the street just to get to the back of the shop, which is a bit of a hassle. It’s a bit of a mess during the monsoon when the ground gets muddy, but we keep going. We don't use any fancy computer systems; we still write most of our receipts by hand in a ledger. It works for us. If you’re around Sagar Road, you can just ask for Kanchan Steel in Ward 11. Most people can point you the right way. It’s a simple, local business through and through, and we plan to stay here for a long time yet.
