Hotel Jehan Numa Palace, A 5 Star Grand Heritage Hotel In

Down in the Jhansi district, there is a small village called Khetpura near Katera. That is where we are. Even though the name says Hotel Jehan Numa Palace, we are based out here in the rural part of the country. It is very different from the big cities. The air is different and the sounds are mostly from nature and the village animals. We have a simple setup at this address. We don't have marble floors or gold-plated faucets. It is more about the earth and the local brickwork. We spend a lot of our time just maintaining the grounds. The dust from the roads can get everywhere, so there is a lot of sweeping to do. Our staff are mostly local people from Katera who walk over every morning. We don't have a big fancy lobby. We usually sit outside when it isn't too hot. Life moves a bit slower here. We keep track of everything in old notebooks. Sometimes the rain makes the roads difficult to travel, so we just stay put and wait it out. It is a very quiet existence.
