Hotel Chanda (Three Star)

Our hotel is located at H.No 365/11 in the Civil Lines area of Jhansi. Being a three-star place, we try to keep things comfortable without being over the top or too expensive. We get a lot of people coming through here, like travelers taking the train or people visiting for family business. Civil Lines is a decent part of town to be in, and we are easy to find if you are coming from the main road. The rooms are basic but we keep them clean, which is what most people are looking for anyway. We have a small staff who handles everything from the front desk to the kitchen. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit slow when we have a big group, but we make sure the food is hot. It’s an old-fashioned kind of hospitality. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just treat people like they are guests in our own home. There is a lot of history in Jhansi, and we often find ourselves telling visitors which sites they should go see. The building itself is sturdy and has been around for a while. We spend our days checking people in, helping with bags, and making sure the linens are fresh. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the fanciest hotel in India, just a reliable place to sleep when you are passing through Uttar Pradesh.
