Fixem Cement Pvt. Ltd. is located out at Plot No. 1/2/3 Phase 11 in the Industrial Area Growth Center in Bijoli. It is a large space because we need the room for all the bags and the machinery. Being in the industrial area means there are trucks coming and going all day long. It gets quite dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up, but that is expected with this kind of work. We have been operating from this Bijoli location for a while. The guys spend most of their time moving pallets and checking the inventory. It is heavy work and the days are long. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a practical building meant for storage and distribution. Sometimes the gate gets stuck, and we have to fix it, which takes up half the morning. People who need supplies usually just drive right up to the loading dock. We are tucked away in Phase 11, so you have to look for the sign near the growth center entrance. It is a lot of logistics and making sure the orders are stacked correctly. We try to stay organized, but in a place this big, something always needs moving. The sun hits the metal roof pretty hard in the afternoon. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for whoever is coming to pick them up next.
