We are located right at House No- 950. It’s a bit hidden behind the Punjab National Bank in Babina Cantt. Most people find us by looking for the bank first. It’s a small operation. We deal with various items, mostly what people in the cantonment area need on a daily basis. It has been a few years since we set up here. The space isn't huge but we make it work somehow. Sometimes the truck for deliveries has trouble getting into the narrow lane. We have to carry things by hand then, which is a bit of a workout. My brother and I run the place mostly by ourselves. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address on the wall. People know us through word of mouth. It gets busy on days when people come to the bank for their work. They finish their banking and then stop by here to see what we have. We try to keep stock of the regular things people ask for. Sometimes we run out and have to wait for the next shipment from the city, which can take a while. Babina is a quiet place mostly. We like being near the bank because it feels safe. We handle a lot of different small tasks and sales. It’s not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning everywhere. We just have a fan and a desk. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know most of the faces that walk through the door.
