Mehar Green Brick'S

Our yard is located in Vpo-Barhana, right on the Sampla-Beri Road. If you are looking for us, we are sitting right across from Surya Industry. It’s a busy part of the Tehsil Beri area in the district. We make bricks here, and it’s a lot of outdoor work. The "green" part of our name is because we try to do things a bit differently than the old-fashioned kilns, but it’s still tough, dirty work at the end of the day. Stacks of bricks sit all over the property waiting to be moved. Trucks come in and out off the Sampla-Beri Road all day long. It can get pretty loud and messy, especially when we are in the middle of a big production run. There is a small shed where we keep the paperwork, but mostly we are outside checking on the batches. It’s a local business, so we know the other guys working at Surya Industry and the people living in Barhana. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have the yard and our equipment. People from the nearby villages come by when they are building a new house or fixing a wall. We just give them a fair price and load up their tractor or truck. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy through the seasons. Sometimes the winter fog makes it hard to see the road, but we stay open regardless. We usually keep a small stove going for tea.
