Jvs Mech Bricks Pvt. Ltd. is located right at Plot No 1 on Sector-1 Badli Road. It’s a big open space because that is exactly what you need when you are making bricks. We have the machines set up to handle the mixing and molding, and there is always a lot of movement in the yard. Making bricks is a messy business, honestly. There is red dust on everything and when it rains, the ground turns into a bit of a mud pit, but that is just part of the life. We have a small office on the corner of the plot where we keep the records and talk to the truck drivers who come to pick up the loads. Badli Road is usually pretty busy with heavy vehicles, so we are used to the noise of the traffic passing by. The guys working here have been with us for a while and they know the rhythm of the machines better than anyone else. We don’t spend much time on fancy stuff; we just focus on making sure the bricks are coming out of the press correctly. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard. We stay busy year-round, except maybe when the monsoons get really heavy and we have to slow things down. It’s just a regular brickyard where we show up, do the work, and head home tired.
