Our workshop is situated at 683 in M.I.E. Part-A. It’s a family-run kind of place, just like the name says. We’ve been around for quite a stretch, and the building shows a bit of its age, but it’s sturdy and does the job. Inside, it’s mostly full of tools and materials that we’ve collected over the years. There isn't much of a front office to speak of; we usually just meet people right on the floor where the work is happening. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we do stay busy with the daily tasks. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name and whose turn it is to bring in the snacks for the break. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to polish up how we look. We just focus on making sure the items we produce are handled correctly. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big order to finish by the end of the week. The neighborhood is full of other small shops like ours, so there’s a constant background noise of grinding and hammering. We like it here in Part-A because it’s where all the making happens. It’s just us, the sons and the rest of the crew, keeping things moving along day by day without making too much of a fuss.
