We've been at the Lafarge Staff Colony in Gopal Nagar for a while now. Specifically, you can find us at D-88 in the Jhelem Complex. It's a quiet area mostly filled with people working at the plant. Janjgir-Champa can get pretty hot in the summer, but we keep things moving regardless of the weather. Our setup here is mainly about handling the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a big cement operation in Chhattisgarh. It's not a fancy office, just a practical place where we get the work done. A lot of the staff live right here in the colony, so work and life kind of blend together every single day. We see the same faces every morning at the complex. There's a post office nearby at Gopal Nagar which makes handling our mail much easier than in other places. People around here usually just know us as the cement folks from the colony. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist, just some desks, some old files, and regular people doing their jobs. Dealing with the logistics of cement means there is always a mountain of paperwork to sort out. Sometimes the power goes out, or the dust from the heavy roads gets into everything, but that’s just how it is around here. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for many years now. Most people who come by are either workers or delivery drivers. It’s a simple life, focused on making sure the supply chain doesn't break down. We just focus on what needs doing today.
