Sahi Hotel

We are located over on Dimna Road in the Mango area of Jamshedpur, right near the Old Check Post. This part of the city is always full of people and there’s a lot of traffic passing by our front door. Running Sahi Hotel here keeps us pretty busy all day long. It’s an older building, and we just try to keep things in working order. We have a few rooms and a small area where people can sit down for a meal. It isn’t one of those big, modern hotels with fancy lobbies or people in uniforms. It’s just us managing the place day to day. I spend most of my time either at the front desk or checking if the rooms are ready for the next guest. Mango is a crowded neighborhood, so it never really gets quiet around here. We’ve seen all kinds of people stay with us, from workers to families visiting people nearby. The Old Check Post is the main landmark that helps people find us. We try to keep everything functional, but sometimes the pipes leak or the electricity acts up. We just fix what we can and keep moving. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local spot where you can get a room or a plate of food. We open early and close late, and that’s basically our whole routine. It’s just a regular way of making a living.
