Hotel Mount View

Our hotel, Mount View, is situated in the Sharaye Kela district. If you are coming from the Pardih Kali Mandir, we are about one kilometer down the road heading towards Ranchi or Asanbani. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city of Jamshedpur. The location is quite open compared to the crowded city streets. We have a decent amount of space around the building for people to park their cars or trucks. The rooms are just standard. We don't have any of those modern decorations or high-tech gadgets. It is just a bed and a place to sit. We spend a lot of time keeping the dust out because the road is right there and it gets quite busy with trucks. You can see some of the hills in the distance on clear days, which is why we picked the name. The staff is mostly local people from the nearby villages. We don't have a big fancy menu in the kitchen. We just make basic food that people like to eat when they are traveling. It’s a quiet place most nights, unless there is a lot of traffic on the highway. We don't use any corporate talk here. We are just a local business trying to provide a spot for travelers to rest their eyes for a bit before they continue their journey to Ranchi. It is a simple life out here on the road, and we just keep the doors open for whoever stops.
