Our little spot is tucked inside M/S Saraiwala Singh Enterprises over in Naya Bazar. This is in the Jugsalai part of Jamshedpur. If you’ve ever been to Naya Bazar, you know how packed it gets. It’s a traditional market area with lots of shops and noise. There are always people moving goods and rickshaws trying to get through the crowds. Our office is tucked in there, which makes it feel very much a part of the city’s heart. It isn't a quiet resort-style office at all. It’s a place of business. We have a few desks and some cupboards for our files. The air can get a bit heavy with the smell of the market outside. We spend our days talking to people and handling the bookings or whatever comes up. Jamshedpur is an industrial city, and that practical feeling is everywhere, including here. We don’t have fancy carpets or designer lights. We just have what we need to get through the day. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we know the area well. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking near Naya Bazar, so most of us just walk or take a cycle. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk. We just tell people how it is. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to be. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the shopkeepers who work nearby.
