Our shop is at 6, Nanak Chwok Lane, right on Tube Colony Road. It is part of the 42, Fouja Bagan area in Baridih. If you come by, you’ll see lots of wires and boxes everywhere. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. The space is small, so we have to stack things high. Sometimes things fall over, but that is just part of working in a small electrical shop. We mostly deal with the local people from the colony. My tools are usually spread out over the main workbench. We have a small fan that tries to keep us cool, but in the summer, it doesn't do much. The lane outside is narrow, so parking is always a headache for anyone who visits. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a place where we fix things and sell parts. We spend our days testing circuits and talking to customers about their home wiring. It’s honest work. Sometimes we are out on jobs more than we are in the shop. We just leave a note on the door if we have to step out for a few hours. That is just how the business goes around here in Baridih. The light in the back room flickers sometimes, but we never find time to fix our own stuff. It seems like the more work we have, the less we care about our own lights.
