Maa Sports

You’ll find us over at the Manifit Jamco Jamshedpur Chowk, right in the Talco Colony area. We are quite close to Bhagat Singh Park. It’s a nice part of town, and in the evenings, you can see lots of people heading to the park. We’ve been running Maa Sports from this location for quite a while. Our shop is filled with all sorts of gear. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We have bats, balls, and all kinds of stuff leaning against the walls. It feels like a real sports shop should. We don't wear uniforms. Usually, we’re just in t-shirts, ready to move stock or help someone find the right size. The energy around the chowk is always good. We get a lot of kids from the colony coming in to look at the gear. We don't do much in terms of fancy displays. We just put the stuff out where people can see it. It’s a simple business. We open in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the day to start. We like being near the park because it reminds us why we sell sports stuff in the first place. We don’t have a big marketing plan. People just know we are here and they come by when they need something. It’s a good, honest way to spend the day. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by each afternoon.
