We are located at Flat J-2, Quarter No. 59, in the TCL Township of Mithapur. It is a bit of a mouthful to say, but that’s just how the addresses are laid out here in this part of Jamnagar. Being in the township means we are right in the middle of the company community. Our office is basically a flat that we’ve repurposed. It has a kitchen that we use for making tea and a living area where we’ve put all the desks. It feels very lived-in. There are calendars on the walls and stacks of documents on nearly every flat surface. We handle the local side of Tata Chemicals Ltd from here. Outside the window, you can see the other quarters and the trees that line the streets of the colony. It’s a peaceful place to work, especially in the mornings before it gets too hot. We don't have any corporate branding on the walls, just the essentials. Sometimes the neighbors’ laundry is hanging out to dry nearby, which just adds to the local feel of the place. We’ve been here at Quarter 59 for a long time. The floor tiles are a bit chipped, and the door creaks when you open it, but it’s where we get our work done. We manage the schedules and the local reports. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a good one. We just focus on our tasks and go home when the work is finished.
