We are based out of the Chandan Maiti Reliance Staff Housing in the Kanalus area of Lalpur, which is part of Jamnagar. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main city but things stay busy enough around here because of the housing complex. Most days start early for us because the sun gets quite hot in Gujarat by noon. You can usually find a few of us sitting near the desks handling paperwork or talking to people coming in from the residential blocks. The office is not very big or fancy but it gets the job done for what we need. Sometimes the wind picks up and brings a bit of dust from the open areas nearby which means we are constantly wiping down the tables. There is a small area where we keep the files and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a strict workplace because we see the same faces every single day walking by. We do not have any big signs or anything flashly.
