We have been running this office in Andaluru for quite a long time now, I guess. It is located right in the Veeravasaram Mandal area of West Godavari. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a plain structure that fits in with the rest of the village. Most of us here grew up in the district, so we are used to the slow pace of things in Andhra Pradesh. Larsen Toubro Ltd has had this spot for years. On a typical day, we arrive early to beat the afternoon heat. The ceiling fans work hard but they do not do much when it is really humid outside. Our work involves a lot of record-keeping and managing the local projects. It is a quiet life here, away from the big cities. We do not have fancy furniture or a modern reception area. There is just a wooden desk where people sign in and a few metal cupboards for the files. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we end up chatting about the local crops or the weather while we wait for things to load. It is an honest place to work. We do not really have a big corporate feel here. It is just us doing what needs to be done. We keep things simple and practical. If you are looking for the post office, we are just a short walk away. It is a steady routine that we have all grown to appreciate over the years. We just keep our heads down and finish our tasks. There is something nice about working in a familiar place like this West Godavari district where everyone knows everyone else.
