Hotel Vishal International

If you walk up to the 3rd floor of the Garden View Appartment in Park Colony, you’ll find us there at Hotel Vishal International. It’s a busy spot in Jamnagar and things never really stop moving. We spend a lot of our time changing sheets and making sure the bathrooms are actually clean for the next person who checks in. Sometimes the lift is slow, which can be a bit of a pain when someone has heavy bags, but we help out where we can. Most of the people staying here are just passing through for work or visiting relatives nearby. We keep the registers on the desk and try to remember everyone's name, though it gets tricky when it's a full house. It’s not like those giant hotels you see in movies with fountains in the lobby. We’re just a local place above some other shops and flats. The view of the garden outside is nice in the mornings before the traffic gets too loud on the street. We usually have tea going in the back for the staff. It gets noisy during the festival seasons because we're right in the middle of things. We just try to keep the rooms quiet so people can actually sleep. It’s a lot of laundry and keeping track of keys, day in and day out. There is always a light on at the desk for late arrivals.
