Our place is Shri Satya Nivas, No. 27, over in the Digvijay Plot area. It’s a traditional kind of spot, not one of those new office blocks. We do export and import work from here. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks like checking orders and talking to the customs folks. The street can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a challenge if you’re visiting. We’ve been operating from this building for several years now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paper folders. We try to stay organized, but when three shipments come in at once, it gets a bit chaotic. That’s just how the exim business goes. We aren't big on fancy titles or anything. Everyone here just does what needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or checking the crates. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real neighborhood. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually go when we need a break. We’ve built up some good relationships with local vendors over the years. It’s not always easy, especially when the markets are slow, but we keep the wheels turning. Our desks are usually covered in post-it notes and shipping manifests. We don't have a receptionist, so we just answer the door ourselves when someone knocks. It's more personal that way and we prefer it like that.
