Ankit Industries

Ankit Industries is out in the GIDC area at Shanker Tekari. Our spot is A-47. If you have ever been to an industrial zone, you know what it is like. Lots of grey buildings, trucks parked on the side of the road, and the constant hum of industry. We have got a decent-sized shed where all the work happens. It is loud and it is dusty, but that is the nature of the business. We do not have a separate office building. There is just a corner partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the computer and the files. The rest of the space is for the machines and the raw materials. Shanker Tekari has a lot of small units like ours. Everyone is just trying to get their orders out. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. By noon, the metal roof makes it feel like an oven, so we take a long break for lunch. Most of us eat together sitting on some crates in the shade. We are not a high-tech facility. We use machines that have been with us for years. They need a bit of tinkering now and then, but they get the job done. We do not have a marketing team or a fancy website. People find us because they know we are here at A-47. It is a straightforward way to run a business.
